The channel modules of actiCHamp Plus enable impedance measurement for both passive and active electrodes, allowing users to verify and demonstrate that recordings are obtained at optimal electrode performance levels.

While using actiCHamp Plus with active electrodes (specifically actiCAP slim/snap*) remains the preferred solution, this is primarily due to Brain Products' active electrode systems offering exceptional artifact rejection capabilities while delivering superior data quality.

Integration with Active Ag/AgCl Electrodes

The system combines with active electrode systems featuring high-quality Ag/AgCl sensors and innovative integrated noise attenuation circuitry, delivering lower noise levels than conventional active electrodes. This configuration enables real-time impedance monitoring with visual feedback.

R-Net Saline Electrode Compatibility

actiCHamp Plus is compatible with Brain Products' newly developed R-Net saline electrodes. This system utilizes saline-soaked sponges with passive Ag/AgCl electrodes mounted in a durable, flexible silicone structure.
